Jessica Pierce is a Research Associate and a Human Development and Family Science doctoral student at The Ohio State University. Jessica shares her knowledge and expertise on early childhood education and development with the Virtual Lab School by conducting research and creating content for the Preschool age track. She also assists in reviewing both written and video content before publication. Jessica graduated from Miami University with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education. Prior to joining the VLS team, Jessica held a lead preschool teacher position at a newly established child care center in Columbus, Ohio and was given the opportunity to create an entire program from the ground up. During this experience she found that training and supporting early childhood teachers was an especially rewarding and important facet of her job. Jessica is proud to support fellow early childhood professionals all over the world by working for the VLS.
