Dan Buettner is the Technical Director for the Virtual Lab School. He oversees the development of the VLS website and he maintains the technical tools used to acquire, catalog, and review the multimedia assets used in the video production processes. Dan has more than 15 years of experience in back-end web development, database design and administration, server administration, and data analysis. He focuses on leveraging open source technology in the education and non-profit arenas. Dan enjoys the opportunity to provide access to best practices in childcare and education to help professionals make a difference in the lives of each child for which they care.
