As the Communications Director for the Virtual Lab School, Emily is responsible for designing and implementing marketing, branding, and communications strategies to publicize and promote the VLS. In her role, Emily also cultivates relationships with university, state, and national stakeholders, and provides communication and outreach support for VLS users located on military installations worldwide. Emily holds a B.S. in Marketing Management and an MBA, both from Oregon State University. Prior to joining the VLS, Emily worked as a civilian for the United States Air Force as a school liaison, serving military-connected children and their families at a remote overseas installation. She also previously held positions in university advancement, and athletics marketing and advertising at two universities. Emily is honored to have the opportunity to continue supporting military-connected children and their families as part of the VLS team.
