Knowing the reasons that drive what you do is essential in all aspects of your work as a manager. Having a strong philosophical framework on creativity will help as you encourage staff members to think about their roles in promoting creativity in the children and youth with which they work.

Spaces and materials are powerful drivers of creativity. As a manager, it is your responsibility to ensure that staff members work in environments that are well organized with a variety of materials that are intentionally selected to promote creativity. You will learn about ways to help staff members cultivate creativity and innovation in the children and youth they serve.

As a manager, you have an opportunity to nurture creativity in your staff. When staff feel empowered to be creative, so will the children and youth they serve.
