Every day, child and youth professionals around the world make a lasting impact on the lives of children, youth, and families. Their compassion, creativity, and commitment lay the foundation for learning, growth, and a sense of belonging—especially within our military-connected communities.
From early childhood educators and caregivers to family child care providers and youth program staff, these professionals provide far more than instruction or supervision. They create safe, nurturing spaces where young minds can explore, discover, and thrive. Their work fosters resilience, joy, and confidence from infancy through adolescence.
This year, Teacher and Child Care Provider Appreciation Week is observed from May 5–9. The Virtual Lab School proudly takes this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude to all these champions of children and youth.
We appreciate all the amazing CYP teachers and child care providers for their vital role in supporting the well-being of service members, veterans, and their families, acknowledging the care and stability they provide in the lives of military-connected children and youth.
