5. No pushing
   Use gentle hands/touches

    
6. No teasing

7. No whining
   Use kind words

    
8. Don't talk back
   Listen; Use kind words; Be respectful (Note: This original rule could be disrespectful towards the children and focuses on obedience. Teachers with this rule will want to reconsider their ideas about relationships with children).

    
9. No talking when the teacher is talking
   Be respectful; Be safe; Listen; Take Turns (Note: This original rule is not a developmentally appropriate goal for preschool children.)
