Celebrate Child & Youth Providers on May 8, 2026

Recognize the essential work of child and youth professionals on Provider Appreciation Day

The Virtual Lab School joins Child Care Aware of America in expressing our gratitude and thanks to child and youth professionals for their hard work and dedication working with and advocating for children and youth.

This year, Provider Appreciation Day is observed on Friday, May 8, 2026. The observance recognizes the essential role early childhood educators, family child care providers, and youth program professionals play in supporting children and youth’s social, emotional, and physical well-being.

Across classrooms, family child care homes, and youth programs, these professionals create environments where children feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. Their work helps build strong foundations for lifelong growth and development.

While this day offers a special opportunity to say thank you, our appreciation extends well beyond a single celebration. We value the continued dedication of child and youth professionals who support military-connected children, youth, and families every day.
