Social Emotional Learning for Teachers (SELF-T) Now Enrollable

Registered Users Can Now Earn a Certificate for SELF-T

At the request of the U.S. Department of Defense’s Office of Military Family Readiness Policy’s Children, Youth and Families (OMFRP’s CYP) division, the VLS has been working to make all Focused Topics Courses enrollable and trackable for military-affiliated users.

Most recently, the Social Emotional Learning for Teachers (SELF-T) course has been made enrollable and registered users can now earn a certificate for this course. To enroll in the SELF-T course, direct care staff or providers must be enrolled by their T&CS or Program Manager. T&CSs, PMs, IAs, and HQAs can enroll themselves in the course. To earn a certificate, users must review the course content and successfully complete the demonstrate questions within each lesson of the Social Emotional Learning for Teachers course. A certificate will be automatically generated after all demonstrate questions in the five-lesson course have been completed. Unlike other Focused Topic courses, there is no End of Course Assessment (EOCA) associated with the SELF-T course.
